He was leaning in close enough that I could just grab his head and plant a kiss on him right then and there. Of course I didn’t have the guts to do it.

I could smell him. His cologne…His scent…His… Wait, wasn’t that the smell of smoke?

Sure. He smelled like smoke, figured as much since he was the boyfriend of a pyromaniac. I didn’t mind it – the smell of a cigarette on Roxas’ body. It was almost mysterious and I liked the risk of it. I also didn’t mind the fact that he was gay. I mean, you can’t help who your best friend’s nobody falls for now can you?

But anyway, he was leaning in close enough that I could just grab that blond hair of his and pull him close to me just kiss him once. Sure, at first he’d probably dislike it, but who says I can’t persuade him? Push up the boobs and pretend it’s someone who isn’t actually gay… Like Riku… Or Sora.

I wonder what is actually going through Roxas’ mind when we’re together. I mean if it’s actually Sora then it’s really Sora that I would be having relations with, and by relations I mean hanging out and nothing more, and it’s not Sora who is actually gay, right? Or is it? Well, if he was, then that would explain why he was more excited to see Riku than actually seeing me when we were reunited.

Either way I wanted to kiss this blond boy so bad I just kept glancing at him. He was quite silly – amusing himself with something that wasn’t me and always oblivious to anything if he caught my eye.

Now I don’t mean to sound selfish, but a girl would like, no, a girl deserves to have a little action in her life, and I don’t mean playing with sticks, racing from one end of the beach to another or holding hands with boys. Is this too much to ask for?

“Kairi, it’s your turn.” Roxas said leaning over my shoulder pointing out the fact that Axel had discarded. “Six of clubs, want it or no?”

“No.” I said. I grabbed another card and discarded an ace of hearts.

Axel snatched up the ace and laid down his cards for us to see. “Ah-ha! I win again!” Man, that grin of his could make anyone’s heart melt. “A royal flush! Read ‘em and weep Kairi.”

Crap, I thought to myself. We’ve only been playing a few games, but I was losing clothes quickly. “Roxas, you should play. It’d be much more fun, than just me and Axel. Plus I’m sick of losing all of my clothing. Axel hasn’t lost a game yet."

“Sure.” He said. “But you still have to remove another layer of clothing.” He laughed reminding me.

Both socks – gone, jacket – gone, what was next? “What do you recommend?” I asked.

He looked at Axel, then back at me. “Lose the shirt.” He smiled as he sat down.

I lifted my shirt off watching Roxas and Axel’s gaze pass through me as they settled themselves around so then we sat in a triangle shape. Maybe it was just me, but it seemed as though they enjoyed my company…my now-shirtless company.

Dealing again, Axel added a third pile for Roxas and then handed them out. I noticed Roxas never looked up from his hand. Axel on the other hand, kept glancing at Roxas and my expressions. This game went longer than the rest.

“Aw, come on. Lay me a good card.” I whined as Roxas laid down a six of spades.

I didn’t want it so I picked up from the deck, then laid down my hand, discarding another ace; three queens and four fives. “There you go boys.” I smiled proudly.

“Kairi,” I watched as Axel snatched up the ace and laid down his hand, three aces and four threes. “I don’t think so.” He smiled.

“Damn. I think I lose.” Roxas said laying down his cards after playing his turn.

“Roxas, you have a flush. You beat us.” I told him. I pointed out that the seven cards he laid down were of the same suit – hearts, go figure – 2, 3, 8, 10, jack, queen, king. “Looks like you lost to your boy.” I told Axel.

“Oh shut it.” Axel responded. “At least I’ll be man enough to remove something worth awing about.” He started to unzip his fly. “That is… Unless you guys aren’t ready for this quite yet.” He glanced at Roxas for a response, but I knew he was referring to me.

“Just do it.” I told him.

A second later his pants were off and there we sat.

The game continued for a couple more hours.

I knew it would end up being longer, since there was a third party involved.

When Axel finally lost his shirt, to the undefeated champion – Roxas, he went into the other room to get something to drink.

“So Roxas,” I said breaking the silence.

“Kairi.” He said shuffling the deck never looking up at me.

“How long have you and Axel…”

“Long enough.” He responded knowing what I was trying to ask him.

“Do you ever wonder?” My voice trailed off into nothingness.

“Wonder what?” He looked up at me setting down the cards in front of him.

“What it’s like to…kiss a girl?”

“Never really thought about it.”

“Care to give it a go?” I said with as much courage as I could get.

“You know Axel and I are…”

“I know.” I responded, knowing his response.

I looked over to the doorway where Axel had exited then I looked back at Roxas and leaned into him. I ran my fingers through his hair. He moved away as if afraid.

“It’s okay.” I reassured him. I leaned in again, but this time taking his head and pulling it towards mine. Our lips touched. He pulled away again.

I sat there and starred at him as he seemed embarrassed by what I did.

“I hope you guys don’t mind beer. It’s all I could find.” Axel said setting three beers in the middle of our triangle. He grabbed one and opened it, taking a sip. “Roxas, what’s wrong? You look… What’s on your mind? Roxas?” He snapped his fingers in front of Roxas’ blank gaze.

“What? Oh nothing. I’m fine.” Roxas shook his head and smiled. He leaned over and kissed Axel on the lips then looked at me as if I didn’t notice them.

“One more round?” I asked. “We are all down to our underwear after all. Well, you two in boxers and I in bra.”

“Sure.” Axel responded.

Roxas dealt the cards and the game was on. After only two times around, Roxas laid down his cards – full house. I didn’t have anything, but a couple of pairs, so I lost. Axel however did not. He had a straight flush.

“Stop winning.” I told him.

“Sorry, Roxas must be my good luck charm.” He smiled and kissed Roxas on the lips.

I removed my bra and watched as Roxas started to remove his boxers.

“Wait,” Axel said stopping him. “Don’t want to…To give everything away now do you my love. Take your socks off. That way it’s all fair, bottoms to go.”

“But… I’m shirtless for you guys!” I shouted.

“Kairi calm down. It’s just a game.” Roxas reassured.

“But we’re losing clothes! There are stakes involved!” I continued.

“Kairi,” Axel said. “If I didn’t know any better, I’d say you… You wanted to see Roxas without pants.”

“I… No… But I…” I stuttered. “No. No. Roxas take off your socks. We’ll continue this fair and square.” I pouted, crossing my arms in front of my breasts.

I stared at Axel. He was not allowed to see through me, though was I as clear as day?

The next hand was dealt and went slower than the rest.

“I bet we’re all saving the exact same thing.” I stated.

“Mhm.” Roxas replied.

“Check this out,” Axel said proudly. “Straight.”

“Aw man.” Roxas said laying down his cards. He was one card short of a full house.

“Boys,” I smiled. “Take off your clothes.” I laid down my cards. A straight flush lay before them. “Well?” I anticipated them removing their clothing.

“This game sucks. You win Kairi.” Axel picked up the cards and gathered them together to put them back in the box.

“We’re not…” Roxas looked at Axel confused. “We’re done?”

“Yes. Kairi wins. Let’s get going.” Axel replied.

“Now that’s not fair.” I explained. “You have to at least take off the remainder of your clothing. You can’t just say I win and let that be the end of it. I demand nakedness.”

“Kairi.” Axel looked at me sternly. “You win. We’re done.”

“Kairi,” Roxas whispered. “Later.” He nodded.

I gave Roxas a weird look in reply and let them get the cards and their clothes together.

“Still not fair.” I crossed my arms expecting them to do something right then and there.

“Kairi,” Roxas got up and walked into the other room. “Come on.”

“Huh?” I followed Roxas into the other room.

“Axel’s just shy. Couldn’t even tell you how long it’s been since I saw him naked. Actually, thinking about it… He’s seen me naked, I just… Haven’t seen him.” Roxas explained. “So… You demand nakedness eh?”

I nodded and watched as Roxas slowly removed his boxers.

It felt like a strip tease. After those boxers were removed he stood in front of me completely naked and smiled as if he wasn’t.

I want him. I want his body. I can just imagine moaning his name as we embrace.

“Roxas you ready?” Axel entered the room. “Roxas!” He screamed in surprise. “I said we were done!”

“Oh, it’s not like you haven’t seen me naked.” Roxas replied.

“Your turn.” I said turning to Axel. “Well, go on.” I motioned to his boxers.

“No. You got what you wanted Kairi.” He replied.

“Well, at least one of us wants to see you…” I glanced at Roxas.

“Hey, now… I never said…” Roxas said as he lifted up his boxers.

“You want to see me? You want –” Axel was cut off by Roxas’ lips to his.

“Let me help you.” Roxas smiled touching the brim of Axel’s boxers.

I watched as the blond boy started to move down Axel’s body pulling the boxers down with him. He ended up on his knees in front of Axel.

“Kairi,” Axel sighed. “You… Win…”
